ÉTATS-UNIS

L’organisation de la profession IADE de ce pays s’impose comme un modèle.

Son association nationale, forte de plus de 33 000 membres, ses associations par États, (on aimerait une association d’IADE par département, voire par région...) ses congrès fédéraux et nationaux, la liberté d’action de certains États permettant l’exercice sans supervision des médecins anesthésistes, sans augmentation du taux de mortalité pour autant, un niveau très élevé... Bref, le must dans la profession.

Et la reconnaissance vient d’en haut.

Mais sans doute le snphar et la sfar ne reconnaissent pas la parole du président des USA, eux qui se gavent pourtant d’articles provenant de ce pays...

N’oublions pas non plus le fameux opt-out qui permet aux CRNA de délivrer des actes d’anesthésie sans la supervision d’un médecin. 17 états américains ont accordés ce statut aux CRNA, à ce jour.

Exemple la Californie l’a redit lors d’un jugement de la cour d’appel.
On March 15, 2012, the California Court of Appeals issued a ruling affirming the trial
court’s ruling that California law does not require physician supervision of CRNAs,
upholding the validity of the state’s opt-out. In this ruling the appeals court noted that
California CRNAs administer anesthesia pursuant to a physician order, but that this is nota requirement to administer anesthesia under physician supervision.

Pour ceux qui en veulent toujours plus : le Bureau of labors statistics, et les
Occupational Employment Statistics Où l’on y lit que les salaires annuels (variables selon les états) ont été calculés en multipliant le salaire horaire moyen d’une "année, à temps plein" chiffrée à 2080 heures.

A comparer avec notre base annuelle de 1607 heures maximum sans préjudice des heures supplémentaires susceptibles d’être effectuées.

Si l’on prend le "Top paying States for this occupation" (les états qui payent le mieux, le Nevada est l’état qui paye le plus, avec un salaire horaire moyen de 106.36 dollars (82.89 euros) et un salaire annuel de l’ordre de 221 240 dollars pour l’année 2013.

Soit au 22 septembre 2014 : 172 405,79 EUROS.

le "Top paying metropolitan areas" région qui paye le mieux est celle de Las Vegas-Paradise, Nevada avec un salaire horaire moyen de 114.59 dollars (89.30 euros) et un salaire annuel de 238 350 dollars.

Soit au 22 septembre 2014 : 185 739,11 EUROS.

Des chiffres qui laissent songeur...Mais le temps de travail est supérieur et le niveau exigé est élevé. La profession subit également une certification tous les cinq ans.

Il faut savoir ce que l’on veut.

Les infirmier(e)s anesthésistes apportent une contribution importante aux soins de santé à travers le monde. Un fait peu connu est que, dans de nombreux pays du monde, presque toute l’anesthésie est délivrée par les infirmier(e)s . Cette enquête internationale, en cinq langues, a été faite pour fournir des informations sur les soins d’anesthésie livrés par les infirmier(e)s dans les pays dans les régions du monde désignés par l’Organisation mondiale de la Santé.

Phase I, présenté ici, d’un projet en trois phases, déterminé que les infirmier(e)s administrent l’anesthésie dans au moins 107 des 200 pays du monde. Ils, elles, administrent l’anesthésie dans les pays développés, en voie de développement et pays les moins avancés, ainsi que dans toutes les régions du monde. Un but de la diffusion des données dans cet article est de valider davantage les résultats de ces études de 1992-1994.

Les lecteurs sont encouragés à communiquer avec les auteurs des informations de suivi. Un soutien à l’étude a été fourni par l’Association américaine des infirmier(e)s anesthésistes, Conseil sur la recertification des infirmier(e)s anesthésistes, et la Fédération internationale des infirmier(e)s anesthésistes.
